AVCC publishes accessibility guidelines

November 20, 2004: The Australian Vice-Chancellors Committee has just published new guidelines concerning information access for students with print disabilities.

June 30, 2004: WANAU members now number in excess of 100 members, with all states represented.

OZeWAI 2004 call for papers

June 12, 2004: OZeWAI 2004 will be held at La Trobe University, Melbourne, December 1-3. This is a small but high-quality conference that caters for all with an interest in accessibility. This year, there will be a special focus on the accessibility of educational materials and how they are developed, identified, discovered, and repaired. Managers, techies, users, researchers, and more are invited to contribute in any of the many ways we provide for conference participants.

WANAU gets noticed

June 5, 2004: This week's Higher Education Update made mention of this group. Not bad since we've only been up and running a couple of weeks and haven't yet had our first official meeting!

Membership tops 60

June 4, 2004: We now have just over 60 mailing list members. Nearly all states (come on South Australia, where are you?) and a large number of universities are represented.

Developing a web accessibility action plan
